Sioux and Budgie were also interviewed on BBC radio 2 on the Jonathon Ross Show, click here from mp3 speaker.gif and talked of the new Creatures album, previewed the new single 'Godzilla' to be released in October along with the album, plans for a tour next year and are recording more material for a future release. Sioux also did what she does best and swore on live radio again!

02.JUN.03: 7 Y I DVD to be released in the UK.  In contrast to the Cd recieves excellent reviews and is worthy of them. A fine example of a fantastic group performing as great as they ever have, captured perfectly and very well edited. DVD features two seperate backstage sections as bonus (Budgie's tour is worth the money alone!!) and a hidden section where there are interviews with the fans.
19.MAY.03: 7 Y I CD / LTD Double Vinyl released in the UK. On the Press sheet for the promo CD above, it says the DVD will be out at the same time, although on Siouxsie.com it says: June 2nd. Cd recieves mixed reviews from fans, mainly due to (the now boring topic, of)  Sioux's voice. The double LP features less artwork and pics than the CD.....'limited' indeed.
19th Apr 03: the confirmed dates for release of the 7 Year Itch CD /LTD Double vinyl is 19th May and for the DVD 2nd June, not the same date as the Cd, as quoted on the press release with the promo Cd.
15th Apr 03. TOP2 (UKTV) showed the Creatures performance of 'Right Now' from Aug 83

The tracks appear to be lifted from the Outtakes bootleg LP, stating that they are Juju sessions but are in fact Track Rehearsal songs. 20th Century Boy and Love in a Void (into the Lords Prayer alythough not stated)

23rd October - Creatures.com News updated, a live CD and DVD of Siouxsie and the Banshees' Seven Year Itch Tour performance at the Shepherds Bush Empire London is due for  release next March, (however we all know that means nothing and will probably be put back several months on the trot! we wait to hopefully be pleasantly surprised!)
......what about 'NYC in the can' Budgie?....will that be THE live CD, an additional one,  or is that idea scrapped?!?

16th October  -  Siouxsie features in OK magazine
10th October - the 'Best Of' only reaches no. 91 in it's first week of release and is generally received poorly  by fans due to it's lack of artwork and a feeling of little effort on the part of the record company, the band, marketing and promo to 'push it' for some reasonable success. We have to wonder, how can a b-sides or rarities set follow this when it hasn't got the exposure and success it needed to help further that project?? Reviews of the Best of.. only appeared in Q Magazine (review and advert) and NME, One radio advert in Belgium, small number of promo posters, and no TV adverts or interviews for it unlike The Rolling Stones and Rick Astley's best of (of all things!!).

7th October - Budgie appeared on Never Mind The Buzzcocks gameshow on UKTV BBC2, originally schecduled for 30th Sept on Creatures.com, his team won and he looked great!

20th Sept -Nils Stevenson found dead on the anniversary of the Banshees 1st show at the 100 Club in 1976.

 R.I.P.

He was the tour manager for The Sex Pistols and was The first Banshee manger before DAve Woods.  He also produced and co. produced their songs: Hong Kong Garden, Staircase (Mystery), Playground Twist, Love In A Void, and Join Hands as well. He was Siouxsie's former lover and is pictutred with her on the beach in his brothers (Ray Stevenson)'s unofficial photobook.

Sad news: Nils Stevenson -- most famous for having been Siouxsie and the Banshees' manager -- has passed away. Here's an extract from his bio: "I fell in love with youth culture when I saw a Teddy Boy in the late fifties. Although I was little more than a baby, I vividly remember being drawn to the only colorful looking character in an otherwise sea of gray in East London's, Petticoat Lane Market. It was as if I instinctively knew that he would provide the only way out of a dull, staid existence. As soon as I was able, I threw myself into each successive youth cult beginning with Rockers at the tender age of ten. . . . After a trip to America in 1974 I opened a stall in Beaufort Market, Kings Road, Chelsea, where I sold the clothes that had turned me on in my youth: leather jackets, drainpipes, pegs, winkle pickers and drapes. Striking up a friendship with Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood, whose SEX shop was a stone's throw from my premises, changed everything. Exciting relationships rapidly developed and I found myself at the centre of a scene. I started tour managing the Sex Pistols and strategizing and designing their early graphics with Helen Wellington Lloyd. A year later I was managing Siouxsie and the Banshees who gave birth to the whole 'Goth' movement as well as being among the first groups to develop the pop promo video. . . .

25th Sept - Siouxsie was Interviewed for Woman's Hour on BBC Radio 4 on the , Interview can be heard @ untiedundone.com
