SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES

Live in San Francisco @ The Warfield April 25th 2002

This Coalmind's personal review of the 2nd show in Chicago from her site:

Another glorious night! I am not sure why Siouxsie did not talk and interact with the audience as much as the previous night. But I have a feeling that it's because the Warfield theatre separates most of the audience onto a huge balcony up, in front of the stage, with a small percentage on the floor. At the Fillmore, the stage is in front of a magnificently large room full of standing people. Oh well. The Warfield actually has an amazing set of lights that jet out three-dimensionally over the whole theatre, projecting through smoke from incense that was lit beforehand!

Arabian Knights
Israel
(I am very grateful that they decided to play ISRAEL!!! It is such a spiritually powerful song, much of the audience was also pleasantly surprised and roared with approval. Many people in front of the stage held up their hands in peace signs. Performing it right after ARABIAN KNIGHTS is an interesting choice!)

2nd Encore

(Siouxsie: "This is for a very good, close friend who's name is Joseph..." ) Monitor
(
Siouxsie: "We have to say goodbye now. But before we go, this is for George. And I love these two lines from the song... one very fine Banshee tradition...")
Blue Jay Way

(--a cover of a Beatles song!-- the same song they ended with the night before)
